Characteristic for the small stories on this weblog, is that I eye witnessed the events and/or spoke to the people on the spot.
Citizen media, digital communication, ict and cooperation with developing countries are the keywords of this Dutch/English blog. With a special focus on the regions Central Asia and the Middle East.
Besides working as a program officer media/ict at Hivos – a Dutch non-governmental organisation inspired by humanist values – I also am a freelance journalist.
Finally, all views, opinions, suggestions, ideas and also all the spelling mistakes on this blog are utterly my own.
