Old soldiers never die

May 30, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Almost ten years ago I read Nearly Roadkill, subtitle ‘an infobahn erotic adventure’. The book (1996, High Risk Books, New York/London) made an big impression on me. In those early years of internet this was an adventurous travel with loads of gender bending, physical as well as digital.

Only after the performance (Dutch) of Kate Bornstein on the Transgender Filmfestival (23-27 May) I realized she was also the author of Nearly Roadkill. Nothing supriseses me more then people.
